Monet’s ILCOPS Ride💙

I can’t believe this will be my third year participating in the ride! Those that are close to me know how passionate I am about this ride. This ride has changed me in so many ways. Even though I have never lost anyone close to me in the line of duty I have met the people who have I have ridden with them, talked with them, cried with them, and healed with them. This ride gives people the opportunity to talk about the loved one that they have lost. They are able to share stories of them and talk about how they lived their lives. I have been able to get insight on the brave men and women who paid the ultimate price and even though I may not have ever met any of them in person a piece of what I have learned about them from each of their families and friends has been ingrained on my heart. I am forever grateful to be a part of the healing journey for these amazing survivors. I have been touched and forever changed by ILCOPS and the Cycle Across Illinois Ride.
