Carolina Voices- Hearts and Voices

The "Hearts and Voices" end-of-year campaign is a critical initiative designed to bridge a $20,000 financial deficit currently facing Carolina Voices. This gap has emerged due to a "perfect storm": the sudden loss of foundational institutional grant funding and a recent income shortfall. These funds were previously the backbone of our annual budget, covering essential costs such as venue rentals, sheet music, and the administrative support required to keep our organization running.

At the center of this campaign is a call to recognize the immense dedication of our most valuable asset—our singers. While audiences see the polished final performance, they may not realize that every singer on our stage is a volunteer. To bring the magic of a single production to life, each member invests over 40 hours of their personal time in rigorous rehearsals and preparation. They give their talent and their time freely because they believe in the transformative power of music in the Charlotte region.

As institutional funding shifts, the future of Carolina Voices now rests on the generosity of individual patrons. This campaign asks our community to match the passion of our volunteers with their own financial support. Every contribution—whether $50, $250, or $1,000—provides the immediate stability necessary to honor the hard work of our singers and ensure our 2026 season remains on schedule.
