GXRLS ROCK! 2024

We envision a world where girls, women and/or non-binary individuals collaborate and lift each other up; a safe space to create and nurture self-esteem and self-expression. As a result of our weeklong summer camp, we strive for a positive impact on all the participants as they continue their journeys as the future generation of the community.

Since our inception in 2015, our GXRLS ROCK! summer camp has served over 350 youth, created 65 youth bands who have written over 65 original songs and performed for over 2,000 families and community members at our summer program finale showcases. We have provided scholarships to over 100 youth who needed support to attend our programs. We intentionally diversified our team by employing 15 professional musicians as teaching artists that reflect the diversity of the youth we serve. Our programs provide cross-generational mentorships for youth to learn the importance of collaboration, self-advocacy and life experience through music and empowering workshops.
