Big Marsh Park is one of Chicago's newest (opened in 2016) and most exciting parks! Located on Chicago's South Side, Big Marsh already includes several miles of beginner friendly single track, multi-use trails, 3 BMX jump lines, and a pair of asphalt pump tracks alongside the incredible Ford Calumet Environmental Center. We know, though, that the park can be so much more!
While Big Marsh is already a destination for Chicago's to be exposed to and refine their mountain biking skills, "Friends of Big Marsh" (a 501c3 non-profit organization) and the Chicago Park District are preparing to add another mile + of state-of-the-art, feature rich mountain bike trail on the "big hill" at Big Marsh!
This project will continue to transform Big Marsh into the bike park we've dreamed of. We are working with corporate partners, foundations, and major donors, but today I am asking you to join us and make these trails a reality.
