For the past year and a half, I've had the pleasure of mentoring two high school students who've consistently blown me away by their dedication and determination to the people around them and their studies. These students are participants in Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO), a rigorous eight-year academic program that prepares motivated low-income public high school students to get to and through college. 

For Giving Tuesday and the month leading up to my birthday, I am raising money for SEO to help provide students, like my mentees, with the tools and resources needed to help them achieve their academic goals. All money raised will go to SEO's Scholars Program and will help fund the cost of course instruction and materials, among others, for the program's students.
