Aphasia affects over 2 million Americans, yet nearly 84% of people have never heard of it. Friends of Aphasia is changing that by providing life-changing services to those with aphasia and their families. As the only organization in Arizona offering accessible, community-based aphasia programs, we are committed to helping individuals regain their ability to communicate, build confidence, and reconnect with their communities.

Co-founded by former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and her Speech-Language Pathologist, Friends of Aphasia offers in-person and virtual aphasia groups, providing critical support and resources.
