Help cocoon the raccoons
A nonprofit fundraiser supporting
Animal Institute IncOur orphaned raccoon babies are too young to be released. Help us care for them over the winter.

Colonel Mustard, Professor Plum and Miss Scarlett are just 3 of 20 raccoons we are currently caring for. Throughout their first year of life they would usually stay with mom and learn the basic skills for survival. Our orphaned raccoons are not yet old enough to be released into the wild, and their chances of survival during the colder months would be slim. Animal Institute will be 'over-wintering' them to ensure they continue to thrive until we finally say a bitter-sweet 'bon voyage' in the early spring.
All our raccoons are released into the wild having been vaccinated against infectious diseases, providing our local wildlife community with an overall healthier population.
Every dollar donated - and volunteer hour served - goes directly to implementing animal protection solutions, since the Animal Institute is a 100%-volunteer 501(c)3 charitable nonprofit animal protection organization. By design, there is no bureaucracy to support, and no jobs to fund.
Thank you!
