ANNA JIMENEZ RUNNING TOWARD A CURE FOR NF2 ºoº

ºoº I’m honored to be running the Walt Disney World Marathon in 2027 ºoº to support awareness and continued research for Neurofibromatosis Type 2 (NF2). NF2 is a severe, rare genetic disorder that affects many people and families. In addition to tumors that grow throughout the nervous system, NF2 mutations are also associated with other cancer types. Research toward this genetic treatment is not only beneficial for NF2 patients, but can also potentially impact a broader cancer population as well.

This marathon is more than just a race, it’s a chance to bring hope and shine a light on a cause that truly matters. I need your help to reach the finish line. Every dollar raised is put directly toward advancing research and assists in making strides toward a cure. If you are able to donate, your generosity in any capacity is sincerely appreciated.

Running has become deeply meaningful to me. It challenges me, grounds me and reminds me that even the hardest miles can be overcome with perseverance and purpose ☻ Running alongside my Husband will also make this year extra special and add to the Magic that's felt during a Disney Run ✨

2025 Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon

As a proud boy mom of three, my sons are at the heart of everything I do. My boys keep me busy, inspired and driven. This is a great opportunity for me to show them the importance of giving back and standing up for others. As I train for this adventure, every step I run will be in honor of those affected by NF2 💙
