What is the Handleman Walk for Autism?
The  WALK is a fun family event with:  Live music, food, a silent auction  and more in a beautiful garden on Rutgers Campus.  The event raises  funds for children and adults with autism and celebrates the lifeâs work  of autism pioneer Dr. Jan Handleman (1951-2008).  All are welcome and  all get a goody bag for participation!
How can I Help?
Donate, and spread the  word to your friends and family!  And be sure to join us on Sunday, November 5th at the Walk.
Where do WALK Proceeds Go?
All  proceeds from the walk go to the parent organization Douglass  Organization for Occupational and Related Educational Services (DOORS) , a 501c(3) associated with the esteemed Douglass Developmental Disabilities Center (DDDC) in New Brunswick, New Jersey.  DOORS provides resources to the  help the children and adults at the center thrive and grow.  Help  support the work of the center, home of advanced treatment for autism!
