I believe every child deserves people in their corner who believe in them, encourage them, and create opportunities for them to thrive.
As an elementary school teacher, I see every day just how much the right support can mean to a child. That’s why, for the past four years, I’ve chosen to fundraise for I Would Rather Be Reading during Give for Good. I believe in the work they’re doing for kids across Louisville—from literacy support to meaningful experiences, mentorship, and a safe place to belong after the school day ends.
