Little Stella is barely 4 weeks old and life has not been kind. We urgently need to cover medical costs to get this girl feeling better!
Stella was found with her two siblings in a business owner's wall. Her mom was a feral cat, and the owner wanted nothing to do with them. He demanded the kittens be removed, but they were unable to find the feral mother.
They have no idea how long the kittens where in the wall without the mom, and one kitten sadly didn't make it.
Homeward Trails took in little Stella and her brother Orion when we found a wonderful foster willing to wake up every four hours to bottle feed these two. We tackled the fleas and then realized that Stella wasn't urinating normally and had an odd discharge.
The vet says this little girl - not even a month old - has a UTI. There may be something a bit unusual with her urethra so we'll be watching how that develops closely.
Please help us cover the cost of this unexpected, emergency vet visit. Let's hope all will be well and that Stella and Orion develop into healthy, active kitties. They are social, confident kittens with many adventures ahead of them.
