I am running the LA Charity Challenge Half Marathon on Sunday, March 17, 2024, for Team My Friends Place in hope of bring awareness and support to our youth on the street. Having volunteered with PADS, a homeless support group in Simi Valley, CA, I've heard the stories from some of the youth and recognize how easily I could have fallen into such a circumstance. Now I hope to use my running to help those less fortunate than I.
My Friend's Place has almost reached it's modest goal of $5000. We are just $1,975 short. With your small donation we can make a big impact on the homeless youth in LA. Let's show our appreciation for what we have in life by 'paying it forward.'
