Full STEAM Ahead! Inspiring 3rd Grade Innovation

Greetings 3rd Grade Parents, Friends, and Family! 

Phyllis R. Miller Elementary School PTA is raising funds to grow our STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) program - bringing hands on, creative, and curiosity-driven learning to all of our students.

This year, our goal is to equip classrooms and our school garden with STEAM materials that will spark innovation and real world problems solving. We also want to host events that will stimulate creativity and innovation.

The third grade is a unique time in a child's education when new interests coincide with an emerging sense of independence. From robotics kits and art supplies to science lab tools and garden-based experiments, STEAM programs will help them explore the world through exposure to hands-on learning and innovative instruction. As they enter their later elementary years, let's encourage them to dream bigger by providing them with the tools for success!
