This year, for Dave's Race 7 we will be taking donations to reach our $2,000 goal to help in the fight against ALS.  We kindly ask if you would donate ANYTHING to help fight this horrifying illness that currently, has no cure.  We will be taking people on paced laps and FULL SPEED hot laps around the Famous Virginia International Raceway in our fully race prepped BMW M4. 

*Donations over $50 will get you a tame mid-speed ride around the track.  *No helmet required.*

*Any donation over $100 will get you Over 10 minutes of FULL SPEED laps riding passenger in our M4 Racecar! *Helmet Required*

*Any donation over $200, well we will let you DRIVE the M4 around track for the mid-speed pace laps.  *No helmet required*

About your donation - 100% of all donations for Dave's Race will support 3 different ways to help the ALS community via Dave's Triple Target Fund!

About Racing for ALS! - Racing For ALS started shortly after David Lloyd was diagnosed with ALS in October of 2017 by David and his brother Scott as a way to go make memories and have fun.  Through the Lord's intervention that brought about an amazing team or racers, it has become so much more!  Coming into the 2025 season, Racing for ALS has raised over $1,800,000 in funds that have had a 100% pass through rate to fund ALS research and Assistance dollars for PALS (Persons with ALS).  The funds raised for this event will be the same, in that Racing for ALS will convey all event, merchandise and general donation proceeds to three worthy beneficiaries via its Triple Target Funding initiative started on October 1, 2023, in the following proportions:

• 45% to ALS TDI

• 10% to Duke Neurology

• 45% to our 2 Racing for ALS Patient Assistance Funds

Triple Target Funding affords key advantages over event specific beneficiary designations:

• Year-round beneficiary financial support

• Year-round beneficiary engagement, awareness building and cross promotion efforts

• Targets ALS in three ways

• Improved donor clarity

• Streamlined accounting
