CESOSS Grassroots Fundraising Week

The Center for Social Sustainable Systems (CESOSS) is a community-driven and community-supported organization that focuses on the protection and preservation of land, water, and traditions in the South Valley of New Mexico. The history of acequias (land and water) in the Middle Rio Grande is plagued with historical dispossession and trauma. CESOSS's programs are organizing under the principle of transformative community justice to allow their community to gain a sense of ownership and querencia based on their legacies of land and water stewardship.

"Our vision is to create sustainable, healthy, and thriving communities where traditions connected to land and water are protected, preserved, and passed onto future generations. Because we are a small nonprofit, much of our work depends on direct community support and volunteer-driven support".
