Hello friends and neighbors!

After moving to DC in July 2019, we were on a mission to support our community at a local level. We soon found the answer right in our new neighborhood: Everyone Home DC's Homeless Assistance Response Team (HART). Volunteering with HART allowed us to get to know our homeless community members better in a candid and enjoyable way. Since getting involved, we have also been extremely impressed by Everyone Home DC's caring and passionate team who made it easy for us to feel connected to our now beloved Capitol Hill community.

COVID-19 has forced the cancellation of Everyone Home DC’s signature fundraising event, Sip and Savor, which was expected to raise $100,000 in essential program funds on September 26. We miss volunteering with HART and want to use our love of cooking to raise funds for an organization that we hold dear in our hearts! 

Please join us on September 13th at 12 PM EST for an Italian themed cooking class (Adolfo is from Rome after all)! We will kick the event off with a cocktail and teach you how to make two pasta dishes: bucatini all'amatriciana and vegan puttanesca. We will send all ingredients to you prior to the event so you can cook alongside us if you so choose!
