We're running for youth! On October 19, a few ONE HOPE representatives will run in the Baltimore Running Festival as a fundraiser for youth work. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to support youth outreach through the church.
The challenges our neighborhoods face are significant. Many of the children in our communities are at-risk, growing up in environments where the lure of the streets is strong, the drug trade is pervasive, and drop-out rates are too high. Some kids will never see a high school graduation ceremony, and the cycles of poverty, violence, and brokenness continue with each passing generation. In response to these realities, our church is not only committed to neighborhood outreach but also to walking alongside families, investing deeply in the next generation. We believe that mentorship is crucial for these children to flourish. While social development is important, our ultimate goal is to introduce them to the life-changing hope found in Jesus Christ—the one true hope who can break the cycle of despair. This initiative seeks to raise funds to support Gospel outreach programs to youth in our three focus areas: Sandtown, Southwest Baltimore, and Upton. The funds raised will be used to enhance our ability to provide consistent, nurturing mentorship and along with Gospel proclamation to Baltimore youth, including the kids of church members! Thank you for your consideration and support in partnering with us to bring hope and transformation to these precious young lives. Please consider a one-time donation to support the youth.
