Holly celebrates A DECADE with camp!

My first year at camp, two adorable kindergartners — twins! — toddled off the bus to enter Camp Starlight for the first time, teary and overwhelmed. They were surrounded by so many strangers talking, laughing, and singing, and their loving family members were nowhere in sight. 

Last year these two "graduated" from Camp Starlight as poised, brilliant, hilarious teens. Just to give you a sense of their wit and charm, here's a message one of them sent me via Stargram, our intra-camp mail system:

This year marks my 10th as a volunteer with this organization, which provides a caring, safe, spiritual and FUN camp experience for children whose lives are affected by HIV/AIDS. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to see the twins grow up, and to participate in every Circle Up singalong, all-camp soccer match, and costume-closet fashion show along the way.
