Ben Did Go 10.0 (Trey Whitaker)

Support me as I will be paddling with a group of people approximately 30 miles from Catalina to Newport Beach in September. To honor the life and legacy of Ben Carlson.

Ben Carlson was a lifeguard for the City of Newport Beach who tragically lost his life in the summer of 2014 making a rescue in large surf. Everyone who knew him spoke highly of his character. Ben was the type of person you wanted to surround yourself with. 

Since his passing a foundation has been created in his honor to help continue to do good in the community. The Ben Carlson Memorial and Scholarship foundation donates resources to lifeguard departments around the world who do not have sufficient needs, helps children in inner cities understand water safety and how to swim, and provide lifeguards with the opportunities for scholarships as well as much more. 

This summer our goal is to raise 300,000 dollars to help continue doing positive work like this around the community in Ben’s name! Any donation no matter how big or small will help contribute to the cause. Thank you!!
