When Tayf Autism Center opened its doors in Bethlehem just one year ago, we began with a simple belief: every autistic child deserves a place where they are understood, supported, and celebrated. We didn’t know how many families would walk through our doors, or how deeply the community would embrace our mission — but today, we see the impact everywhere.

Parents tell us that their children are speaking more, connecting more, smiling more. Teachers share that awareness in the community is growing. Neighbors who once misunderstood autism now greet our children with kindness. Slowly, gently, the stigma that has weighed on families for generations is beginning to fade.

At Tayf, we’ve made a promise: no child will ever be turned away. Families contribute only symbolic fees for behavioral, educational, and sensory sessions — and when a family cannot pay, we simply continue. Because every child deserves support, regardless of circumstance.

But with every new child we welcome, the need grows. Our small team is stretched thin, working tirelessly to meet the demand for therapy, guidance, and hope. We want to hire more specialists, expand our programs, and reach every family who is waiting — but financial limitations hold us back.

Still, we continue. Because the children of Bethlehem and surrounding towns deserve a future shaped not by stigma, but by opportunity.
