Lily’s Legacy Giving Tuesday Veterinary Fund Drive

At Lily’s Legacy we strive to give our senior pups the best medical care available. We’re blessed to have worked with the Fairfax Veterinary Clinic since the inception of Lily’s in 2009 and our pups have continued to get extraordinary care over the years. 

Our goal is two-fold; to be sure the pups are in the best health possible and to be sure their adopters know of any health needs they will need to provide. Upon arrival at Lily’s, our pups first go to Fairfax Vet for their intake which includes the following:

All dogs

• Intake Physical Exam
• Senior Blood Panel, Heartworm, Fecal, Urine tests
• All necessary vaccines

As needed…

• Additional Lab Tests
• Dental Care
• X-Rays, Ultrasounds and CT scans
• Medication
• Surgical Procedures

         All our senior pups come to Lily's needing some degree of veterinary care, many with serious conditions that require diagnostics, surgery, dental care, and treatment for chronic conditions.

         Even though we receive generous veterinary discounts, our medical expenses are substantial. Our average veterinary expense is upwards of $2500 per dog.

Many of our seniors have not been vetted in YEARS. YOU can assure that they will be able to age gracefully in the best health possible and go off to a loving, forever home.
