Dear Friends,
Many of you supported our 2019 Annual Bed Nets 4 Life Christmas Campaign. Because of you, we were able to purchase 4,000 mosquito nets and protect children from malaria. We appreciate your generosity and compassion.
As the need for life-saving nets continues, we hope you can stand next to us on our malaria-fighting mission for 2020.
This Christmas we will give nets to the Acholi Quarter Camp. This is an IDP Camp and it is one of the poorest areas of Uganda.
Long-Lasting Insecticide-Treated Bed Nets (LLIN) will last up to five years and according to the World Health Organization, they are the most cost-effective prevention method against malaria.
Even though malaria is preventable, thousands of children continue to die each day because their families simply cannot afford this $5 mosquito net.
Four children can fit under each mosquito net and the parents can be reassured that their children are protected as they sleep.
Enclosed is a remittance envelope. We would be so grateful if you can help us with at least one $5 mosquito net. If you prefer not to send a check, you can donate through the website at thinkhumanity.org.
Can you help us prevent malaria this holiday season by providing children with bed nets?
Many thanks in advance,
Beth Heckel, Think Humanity Founder and Director
