Hello Everyone. Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. My name is John and I am a 52 years old retired Army Combat Veteran.  Climbing Mount Rainier has always been a bucket list journey for me but I never imagined I would be doing it with such a strong why and the why is to help other families along the way. I have not only committed to climb Mt. Rainier with an amazing team of climbers from around the country but committed to fundraising a minimum of $3000 to help reduce the everyday stress of families as they navigate the mountain that is childhood cancer!  Footprints Of Fight is an organization that helped my family and now I want to pay it forward.

I know all too well what the impact of a child having a cancer diagnosis has on a family. My youngest daughter, Savannah has dealt with this monster and the treatments that come with cancer twice in her short 10 years on this earth. In the last three years, I attempted the summit and made it a 1000 feet from the top and the second attempt weathered the team in with 100 mph high winds. I felt like I had let her down and all the other children I am climbing for to help with childhood cancer. This year I am back to summit this Mountain. If my daughter can beat cancer twice, I can do whatever it takes to raise all the money I can and summit a mountain in her honor.  I know in climbing this mountain it will bring about a lot of tests and hopefully some healing as well. Please consider a donation in Savannah's honor and know that your dollars will directly impact a family like mine and help them during one of the most stressful times of their lives.  God Bless!

Thank you in advance!
