Family Name: Brightstar
The Brightstar family is a loving family with a brave and beautiful little boy. Young Brightstar was born with a rare and complex heart condition and has already faced three great healing journeys. In time, he will need another operation to help his heart shine stronger, though when that day will come is still uncertain. Little Brightstar is also being carefully watched for dreamtime pauses in his heartbeat, and his care team plans to help him rest safely under gentle starlight in the hospital. Through it all, his mother works tirelessly to keep his spirit bright and full of joy. Let us come together this holiday season to surround this courageous family with love, light, and cheer.
Lior Brightstar (Male, Age 5)
Clothing Needs: Tops – youth XS, bottoms – size 5, shoes – little kids size 10. Could use long-sleeve shirts and cozy hoodies.
Dream Wishes: Loves anything from the Heroes of the Realm (especially The Emerald Titan), and treasures anything he can ride or climb upon. He is full of energy and loves outdoor adventures. His greatest wish is for a junior obstacle course—he’s always crafting his own challenges! He also adores toys that let him build and create (like blockcraft sets) or soft plush creatures to cuddle with.
Favorite Music: Anything with rhythm and joy — he loves to sing, drum, and dance along to every tune.
Favorite Shows/Movies: Bluepaw, The Amazing Spinner, Minion Folk.
Favorite Sport/Sports Team: Skyball, The Northern Giants; Moonbase Baseball – The Silver Bats.
