I first started working with Project Return back in 2006 and today I am extremely proud to serve as Project Return’s Board Chair.
Across its many programs, Project Return staff demonstrate how our lived experiences and authenticity translates to amazing care. Project Returns accomplishments this year are a testament to staff dedication and hard work. They expanded their Peer Education and Empowerment Re-entry Services (PEERS) program to serve more individuals who along with mental health challenges, are justice involved. The CAPS Academy delivered training to a cohort in Chino’s Men’s Prison and our Community Integration Project started support groups and offering one-on-one peer support to individuals living in motels waiting for placement in permanent supportive housing. Through these programs, people learn to support themselves and each other while enhancing the quality of their lives.
Sending a HUGE thank you for your support and guidance throughout our years and look forward to working together on how to grow bravery, love, and hope in our communities.
