Hello Family and friends!
My name is Dominic Galas, myself and 11 other men are running in a 178 mile relay race in under 24 hours to help raise money for the Axe ALS foundation created by Eric Stevens.
Eric and I were roommates, teammates, and good friends at Cal Berkeley where we both played on the football team. We were both captains our senior year and have great memories together on and off the field. We were in each others wedding and spent time camping in the Sierras with our wife's before kids (his two and and my four) were even in the picture. This is the second year we have organized this race and run it to support the Axe ALS foundation.
The Axe ALS foundation helps families who are battling this disease. It was started by Eric and Amanda and has helped families all over the world. If you can donate to this cause that is great, if not you can have just as much impact by sharing this story. 100% of all donations go directly to the Axe ALS foundation, and are tax deductible. Our team consists of 12 men that have close relationships to Eric and Amanda.
The goal is to run 178 miles in under 24 hours as a team doing a relay around Reno NV and Lake Tahoe. Race day is super fun and you can be apart of it by following it on social media the day of by following teamstevensnation on instagram.
Thank you!
