Today kicks off J’s football team’s annual Punt, Pass & Kick fundraiser, and we’d really appreciate your support!

I wanted to share a little about where the fundraising money goes, because there are a lot of expenses involved in providing a great football experience for the kids.

The fundraiser helps support:

• Portable practice lights – so all of the teams at NMMS and NMES can safely practice, especially as the days get shorter.

• Practice field lining and maintenance – keeping the fields ready and safe for practices.

• Team equipment and practice equipment – providing the players and coaches with the equipment they need throughout the season.

• Field rentals – helping cover the cost of additional fields needed for practices and games.

• Referee fees – ensuring games have qualified officials.

• Technology, including Hudl – giving coaches and players tools to film, review and analyze games and practices.

• Training and certifications – helping ensure coaches and staff have the proper training to work with the players.

• Varsity camp – providing an opportunity for the players and coaches to prepare for the upcoming season.

The football program works hard to raise enough through fundraisers to cover these needs while giving the players the best experience possible.
