Your donation helps to fund additional classroom teachers, instructional support, professional development for staff, library, classroom and recess materials, grants for teachers, and classroom garden for K-3. To help all students at Abernethy have an opportunity to thrive, please give as generously as possible. And please consider setting up a recurring monthly contribution to donate more over the course of the year.
In addition to donating, consider sending an email to our elected officials and Portland Public School Board to let them know that we support their work to ensure equitable educational opportunities for all students. A message with specific examples and personal stories can go a long toward change!
