The kiddo in that picture is my youngest son Fritz, helping me make chocolate chip cookies this past Christmas.
When we moved to Little Rock 5 years ago, Fritz was 18 months old and couldn't crawl. The state we left just didn't have the resources to help us raise a child diagnosed with Down syndrome.
But, thanks to the dedicated teachers, therapist and staff at Access School here in Little Rock, that changed almost overnight.
Today, he's doing just about everything kids his age do: he plays soccer, runs, swims talks (using sign language and a talker device)...he's even started to write.
Bottom line - the Access School changed the whole course of Fritz's life.
That's why I'm ecstatic - for the 4th year in a row - to run the Little Rock Half Marathon for the Access School in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Every dollar you donate goes directly to the Access School, so they can offer to other children in Little Rock the help they gave so generously to my son.
