The Board Believes!

Hello friends, will you join me by participating in Long Beach Gives 2024 and making a tax-deductible donation to ensure that this national treasure, a critical part of Southern California’s history, continues to thrive for generations to come?

As a member of the Rancho Los Cerritos Board of Directors, this organization and the important work we do, is near and dear to me. A 4.7-acre historic landmark and museum, RLC is comprised of a 180-year-old adobe, lush gardens, rotating exhibitions, a research library, and archival collections. Through documentation and interpretation of the layered history of those occupying the greater Long Beach area for over 5,000 years, the Rancho’s mission is to honor diverse perspectives, enrich collaborative conversations, and inspire broader understanding.

For those who haven’t visited in a while, or maybe have never been, the Rancho is free to the public offering docent-led as well as self-guided tours, youth and adult enrichment programs, and educational nature walks. This enchanting tranquil site is a respite from busy city life and a place to find rejuvenation of mind and spirit.
