In Bali’s most remote villages, where access to veterinary care is unavailable, BAWA shines as a beacon of hope for the needless suffering of animals. In each Balinese village, hundreds of dogs are unvaccinated, unsterilised, and indefensible to diseases such as rabies. BAWA works within these communities at the ground level to tirelessly rabies-vaccinate and sterilise animals.

This unique village approach drastically improves the longevity of individual animal lives and supports population control, rabies eradication, and health care. Population stabilisation enables community members to support their animals and promotes overall village health.
