The week of August 16-22, I have committed to writing for 45 minutes each day to support InsideOut's Write-A-Thon fundraiser. I'd love suggestions for writing, feel free to make requests -- email correspondence, letters to elected officials, subtweets, product descriptions, positive yelp reviews...I'm all ears.
By writing for one week and asking for your support, we will help to share the gift of voice for a lifetime with students!
Writing has given me a way to learn about and process the world around me. It taught me to communicate clearly and creatively. It is a dream to help facilitate -- in any ways possible -- the wit, wisdom, vulnerability, and power of youth voices. Learn more and become inspired at insideoutdetroit.org
