A request to donate to J-sei from Alan Maeda for Give in May 2024.

J-Sei has been a place where I’ve re-connected with my Japanese culture thru gatherings around food, handmade crafts and music. Volunteering here has given me wonderful opportunities to support those who are caring for their aging parents, accepting the aging process, and learning more about self-compassion. In giving, I have found a sense of belonging that I didn’t know I was missing.

Our programs need your continual support to sustain what needs to be done as well as expanding our services to more people. I am hoping that your generosity will allow us to continue to provide support for our seniors thru home delivered meals, maintain J-Sei Home, increasing congregate dining, continuing our free case management services, increasing access to community resources, as well as providing culturally sensitive programming to the larger community. 

So, I’m asking you, those who know me and those who also love J-Sei, to make a donation for the Give In May campaign. This is one of our largest and most important fundraisers of the year. Don't be shy!
