Alfredo Arteaga - Stark Naked

I’m a doting husband, father to two little ones and a former football athlete.  Like many athletes, I found myself in a groundhog day pattern of getting injured, going into surgery and rehabbing every few years. With 8 major surgeries over the past three decades, I finally decided to make a change when I was diagnosed with insulin resistance.  Knowing the dangers that could come if that was not handled early on, I decided it was time for me to make a complete lifestyle change. I had been trying so many methods but found that SN offered me the perfect path to help me reach my health goals. I want to be the example for all those that have gone through major surgeries and injuries that you can heal, both in mind and body. But most importantly I want to be the ultimate example to my kids and family that no matter what set back you encounter in life, never stop going after your goals.

 I’m choosing to represent Ladero PTO.   They are a Parent Teacher Organization with Ladera Elementary in Tustin.  Since the inception of the pandemic many younger kids suffered in terms of not being able to attend school in-person. For some it created a gap in learning and momentum. For others, much needed social development. Ladera PTO helps kids know they are not alone and offers program tailored to enriching a learning environment for all their students. As parents, we are the role model for our own children. Ladera PTO is helping my own child with much needed speech therapy and setting him up for success as he progresses on his school journey. That extra help will have a direct lifetime impact on his self-confidence and his communication skills. I want every child to have that same opportunity - to be set up for success for their own future, no matter what the present looks like. Please help me in helping our children and support this charity.
