During this season of Hanukkah and Christmas we are reminded of the power of God’s Light. Hanukkah is the “Festival of Light” revealing the miracles of faith, hope, and God’s presence even in the hardest of times.
Today, families and soldiers yearn for that spark of light as they face the aftereffects and consequences of war. The men and women of Magen David Adom, volunteers and employees, have been providing professional medical treatments to Israeli citizens and soldiers everyday, holding onto the faith that God will deliver us from these difficult days.
Every year, we at MDA and CFMDA organize special events to bring light and joy to the community, including humanitarian aid, Hanukkah candle lightings with the disabled and poor, and distribution of holiday meals.
When we provide a warm meal, offer safe shelter to the vulnerable, and bring medical help to the wounded—we put our prayers in action, and they know they are not alone. Your donation spreads love and hope to those in need.
