Eleazar, thank you so much for your contribution to this fundraiser! YOUR gift impacts so many!
I am honored to represent Victoria ISD in AMIGOS Y AMIGAS fundraising contest to raise money for a GREAT cause in OUR community, The United Way! Whether you can give a little or a LOT, please support this worthwhile cause and help me to be named EL AMIGO GRANDE of Victoria, TX 2020! Thanks for your support!!!
The United Way Cinco Margaritas event is Victoria County United Way's largest single-event fundraiser of the year. Your donations not only helps this competition - every dollar goes directly to our causes. Your Victoria County United Way contribution is an investment in your community. It is the most effective way to improve lives through the organization’s 17 member agencies because most people served have more needs than one agency alone can address. Your contribution helps more than one person or one charity, and it addresses more than a single issue. Your contribution helps fill a broad range of needs – all focusing on the underlying causes. By giving through the United Way, it is the easiest and best way to make a difference in OUR community.
Your contribution makes a difference – by creating lasting changes in people’s lives by getting to the heart of the problems right here in OUR community.
Everyone deserves opportunities to have a good life: a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family through retirement, and good health.
That’s why United Way’s work is focused on the building blocks for a good life:
- Education – Helping Children and Youth Achieve Their Potential
- Income – Promoting Financial Stability and Independence
- Health – Improving People’s Health
Advancing the common good is less about helping one person at a time and more about changing systems to help all of us. We are all connected and interdependent. We all win when a child succeeds in school, when families are financially stable, when people are healthy.
United Way’s goal is to create long-lasting changes by addressing the underlying causes of these problems. The money you raise will go to partnership programs with 17 non-profit agencies in the Crossroads, bringing needed resources to the whole family. See what your money does and the full list of our agencies on our website.
Thank you for your commitment to the people of the Crossroads!
