2022 Scholarships for Anna's Place NOLA

Anna's Place NOLA serves at-risk boys and girls, age 5-18, in the New Orleans area with safe, healthy and fulfilling out-of-school-time programs. Ninety-five percent of our youth live below the poverty level in New Orleans, 80% attend failing schools, 95% identify as Black/African American, and 90% read at or below their grade level.

Our youth programs offer a comprehensive arts-based curriculum in a safe and nurturing environment aimed at academic enhancement, arts enrichment, and life skills development.

Through partnerships with local organizations, universities, and professional artists, we provide engaging activities to promote academic enhancement and arts education. Our caring volunteers and staff offer a safe place, positive mentors and role models, and the social-emotional support at-risk youth need.

Our youth participate and perform in community events which builds self-esteem, and develops public speaking and leadership skills.
