Thank you for makig the 2017 Partnering for the Holidays Program a Success

Update posted 6 years ago

Thank you to each and every one of you for your support of the 2017 Partnering for the Holidays Program. Over the course of three days in early December, clients of Arapahoe County Human Services had the opportunity to shop for holiday gifts for themselves and their families. Because of your generosity, over 1300 of our most vulnerable  neighbors had just that much brighter of a holiday season.

I would like to share with you some of the comments made by the shoppers:

  • I just wanna thank everyone that came and put this together. It's definitely a blessing and I appreciate everything that I was able to receive for my children.
  • Thank you... you've made our Christmas merry and bright. Without your help Xmas would not be for my children.
  • Thank you very much! Kind and generous people are so very much appreciated.

Thank you again for the difference you made. Wishing you a beautiful holiday season and all of the best for 2018!

Sincerely,

Kimberly Koch

Partnering for the Holidays is a non-profit program created by employees of the Arapahoe County Department of Human Services in Colorado that seeks to create a special holiday season for local individuals and families in-need who might otherwise go without gifts.

The program provides gifts for Arapahoe County residents who are involved as clients with the county's Department of Human Services – children and adults who are in crisis, victims of abuse or neglect, or experiencing financial hardship.

We rely on community members and corporate partners from across the metro-Denver area to make the program a success. There are many ways to support the program. We welcome the donation of new gifts for the Winter Wonderland Store. We also accept monetary donations to support the program. These donations help us to purchase gifts for shoppers to choose from in the Winter Wonderland Store. All donated funds go directly to program operations. Donations are accepted year-round.

All donors  receive a donation acknowledgement letter for tax purposes.

Want more of a hands-on experience? We also have a need for volunteers to assist in many roles.
