ProjectOne-ARC Empowerment Center

As a faith-based nonprofit organization, we seek to empower and encourage every individual we encounter. In 2020 we opened an empowerment center in downtown Mansfield. This campaign is designed to help raise money to expand our programs within our empowerment center, support those in addiction with recovery resources, and assist families with food, shelter, and other necessities. Over the past several years, we've been able to help over 500 families within Richland, Ashland, and Crawford counties in many different areas of need. We have established relationships with inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation centers in order to find safe, reliable addiction recovery support for the individuals in our communities. We hold weekly empowerment meetings Thursday and Sunday nights. Last winter we were able to open a warming center within our empowerment center to shelter the homeless in our community. If we are provided with the financial support and staff, our goal is to develop a program to help the homeless this winter. We would also like to open a transitional safe place for women and children if faced with homelessness. This would provide the women and their children a 5 day stay while we help them find safe, stable housing, or another transitional home that can assist in helping them further. Our ultimate goal is to empower every individual we encounter and help wherever there is a need and would appreciate any support in our journey toward that goal.
