AYPAL: 20k for 2020!

The current COVID-19 crisis has deeply affected API communities, communities of color, and other oppressed peoples, in Oakland and across the globe.   AYPAL is aiming to fundraise $20k for 2020 to support youth leadership, youth organizing, Chinatown families, businesses, service providers that serve Oakland, as well as our vulnerable communities that have been deeply impacted.  For each dollar you give, Blue Shield will match up to $20k to support young people and the Oakland community!  

Your donation will directly support our young people, youth organizing and programming, Chinatown families and businesses, and service providers. Portions of these funds are being directed  to support Chinatown and the greater Oakland community through our Family Support Fund that helps families with students attending Oakland schools.  Through a partnership with Good Good Eatz, we are feeding frontline service providers, unhoused communities in Oakland, as well as Chinatown families.  Deep gratitude to everyone supporting young people our communities in Oakland and to everyone's dedication to youth organizing.  Be well!
