Tobi's Give OUT Day 2024! Fundraiser

Hello Friends and Family,

As many of you know, I am deeply committed to supporting the LGBTQ+ community in Winston-Salem. This year, I am excited to help raise funds for North Star LGBTQ+ Community Center, a cornerstone for advocacy, support, and unity within our community since 2013. I need your help to make a significant impact!

Since its founding, North Star has served as a vital hub for the LGBTQ+ community. Not only has the center recently celebrated a grand reopening, attended by Mayor Allen Joines, but it has also undergone extensive renovations to become an even more welcoming space. With expanded hours and programming, including support groups and community events like the 13th Annual Pride Cookout, North Star is a beacon of hope and inclusion.

Your donation will go directly towards:

• Funding community-centric events like the upcoming 13th Annual Pride Cookout by Pride Connection.

• Continuing vital programming that supports and empowers Trans and Non-Binary individuals in collaboration with Peacework Medical.

• Providing refreshments and meals at events, ensuring they are free and accessible to everyone.

This year, North Star is partnering with Pride Connection to host the 13th Annual Pride Cookout on June 1st at South Fork Park. It’s more than just a picnic—it’s a celebration of our diversity and unity. Every contribution helps cover the essential costs to make this event memorable and impactful.
