Too Young to Be in a Crowded Shelter

Precious Delaney is a sweet 10 week old puppy that has found herself in a rural shelter. This little girl was surrendered by her owners who likely only had her for a few weeks before deciding they didn't want her anymore. Delaney went from a warm home to a cold shelter, where she is confused and lonely. Delaney spends her days in a cage, happily wagging her tail at anyone that walks by, just hoping someone will pick her up and take her home. Unfortunately for Delaney, no one has shown interest in adopting her. Every day she spends at the shelter is another day she may come in contact with a sickness or disease. The shelter staff do their best to care for all the dogs but it is certainly not a safe place for a young immune system.
