After having seen first hand the impact of Lyme disease, Indiana Lyme Connect (ILC) was born out of a desire to love our neighbors, fellow Hoosiers, so they would not experience the same suffering. ILC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in Indiana. Their mission is to educate Hoosiers about Lyme prevention, support those with Lyme disease, and connect healthcare professionals to tick/Lyme information in order to combat this public-health crisis.
May is Lyme Awareness Month, and your support of this virtual race will aid ILC in our continued efforts to equip Hoosiers with Lyme prevention tips and motivate them to implement the strategies on themselves, their pets, and their landscape with the goal of preventing the transmission of Lyme disease through tick bites.
We hope to raise $1000 of ILC's needed $25,000 goal to continue Lyme prevention, marketing, and outreach for all Hoosiers. Funds will be specifically be used for a much needed new website coming Fall 2024, Lyme prevention booth at the 2025 Indiana Flower & Patio Show, expanding marketing/outreach, and free Lyme prevention materials.
