Since 1977, the Children’s Law Center of Massachusetts has dedicated itself to representing low-income, disadvantaged children who, otherwise, would stand alone as they face daunting challenges to their most basic rights. Providing free legal assistance and related services to impoverished children of the Commonwealth in child welfare, education, mental health, juvenile justice and immigration matters, CLCM protects the rights and advocates for services for these young people.
Like Laura - now, through CLCM's advocacy, reunited with a caring relative and being provided the support to become the healthy, adorable girl she is today.
Like Juan - bullied and intimidated at school, but, with CLCM's intervention, confidently returned to his studies with a safety plan in place and district-wide anti-bullying policies initiated.
