Homeless After a Series of Unfortunate Events

Bean was living the good life. He had a loving owner that he adored. He was treated kindly and provided with all his needs. However, after 3 years, Bean's life has taken a terrible turn for the worse. Bean's owner lost their job and immediately started struggling to take care of him. Before he knew it, Bean was being surrendered to a rural VA shelter as his owner was moving away. Day after day, this sweet boy sits in his cement kennel waiting for his owner to return. There is no way to make him understand that this is now his life. As time passes, he gets more and more depressed. Our heart is breaking that this is as good as Bean's life is going to get, unless Homeward Trails is able to raise enough money to get this handsome boy to the DC area to start his life over.
