Lived Her Whole Life on a Chain Breeding Puppies

Beatrice is a Beagle who has known nothing but neglect and hardship. She was tied to a tree her whole life and allowed to breed puppy after puppy who were all taken away from her while she remained chained. Thankfully, recently, the neglectful owner finally allowed her to leave the chain after her last litter of pups had gone. She got on a transport and was headed to a better way when thankfully, the transport driver noticed she was in a dire state. And that transport driver was a vet tech. 

Beatrice was rushed to the ER where she needed two blood transfusions to live. She was barely hanging on. She then had to stay in the hospital for quite a while on medications to keep her blood count at a safe level. After being in a temporary foster home she then made her way to HT but a follow-up vet visit indicates her blood is still in a very dangerous place and she needs ongoing tests, medication, and close monitoring. Beatrice was full of worms when rescued which can cause severe anemia, but Beatrice is just not pulling out of it as most dogs would. We have to find out what the issue is. 

Meanwhile, this girl is tucked safely into a loving foster home where she has her very own 13 year old human best friend with whom she goes on walks and cuddles every night. They even bought her her very own dog bed on night one. She will never live on a chain again. But she deserves many years ahead of her...and we need help to get her there.
