Beau Diego Miller

My name is Diego miller and I am presently a senior at Olympic High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. I am honored to be participating in the Kappa Beautillion Militaire Scholarship Program, sponsored by the Kappa Foundation of Charlotte and the Charlotte Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

The Beautillion Militaire is an important program designed to provide scholarship opportunities while also developing character, leadership, community involvement, and positive social growth among young men as they transition into adulthood. I am grateful for the opportunity to participate in this prestigious program and to be surrounded by mentors and other young men who are committed to becoming leaders in their communities.

Throughout high school, I have worked hard to challenge myself academically while remaining active in leadership, athletics, employment, and community service. Some of my school activities, leadership positions, honors, and accomplishments include:

• OBAP Aviation Program Participant

• Dual-enrollment student at Central Piedmont Community College

• Track & Field regional and state qualifier

• Over 170 hours of community service

After high school, I plan to continue my education and pursue a career in aviation. I am working toward earning my college degree while continuing to develop my leadership skills and giving back to the communities that have supported me.
