Dear Family and Friends,

My name is Kalen Moore, and I am a senior at Palisades High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. I am honored to have been selected for the 2026–2027 Kappa Beautillion Militaire Scholarship Program, sponsored by the Kappa Foundation of Charlotte and the Charlotte Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

The Beautillion Militaire helps young men prepare for adulthood by promoting leadership, character development, community service, and positive social growth. The program also provides participants with the opportunity to raise scholarship funds to support their college education.

Throughout high school, I have been involved in athletics, student organizations, and community-focused activities. My activities, honors, and awards include:

• Palisades Track and Field
• Palisades Men's Basketball
• Black Student Union
• Photography Club
• HOSA
• Teens for Courage
• Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Year

After graduation, I plan to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering. I want to build the knowledge and skills needed to design solutions that make a meaningful difference in the world. I also plan to continue my commitment to service and community involvement throughout college.

I am asking for your support as I work toward my fundraising and scholarship goals. Your contribution will help fund scholarships and assist me with the cost of my college education. Any amount you are able to give will be sincerely appreciated.

The final deadline for all donations is April 16, 2027.
