My name is Sir’Nicholas Maxwell Wallace. I’m a senior at Julius L. Chambers High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. I’m part of the Cambridge Program.
The Cambridge Program is a college-prep track with advanced courses in science, math, and writing. It pushes you to think deeper and work harder. I joined because I wanted to challenge myself and be ready for what comes next.
I have a 3.0 GPA. I’ve worked to keep my grades steady while also staying active in my community.
For the past year, I’ve been working at UrbanPromise Charlotte. I teach Bible, math, and literacy to students in grades K through 8. I help with classroom routines and support kids who need extra help. It’s not always easy, but it’s worth it. I’ve learned patience, leadership, and how to connect with younger students. I’ve also seen how important it is to give back.
I plan to study electronic engineering in college, with a minor in biomedical engineering. I want to help improve the tools doctors use to care for patients. I want to make healthcare smarter and more efficient.
I visited North Carolina A&T State University and left feeling inspired. I toured the labs, met students in the engineering program, and saw some of the hands-on projects they’re building. I liked how serious everyone was about their work and how much support was available. It felt like a place where I could grow.
Now I’m getting ready to take the next step. I’m asking for your support to help cover college costs and program expenses. Every dollar you give brings me closer to the education I need to reach my goals.
Your support doesn’t stop with me. It helps move the medical field forward. I want to build tools that help doctors do their jobs better and help patients live healthier lives. I want to be part of that change.
