Dear Family and Friends,
My Name is Noah Funderburk, a senior at Mountain Island Charter School in Mount Holly, NC. I am participating in the Kappa Beautillion Militaire Scholarship Program, sponsored by the Kappa Foundation of Charlotte and the Charlotte Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc.
The Beautillion is used as a vehicle to raise funds for scholarships, build character, enhance positive moral and social growth, and leadership skills of young men moving into young adulthood. To be involved in this organization is a prestigious affair. I feel honored to have been recommended and selected to participate in the program which will convene on April 16, 2027.
I'm currently a member of the National Honor Society and have maintained my academic status since middle school. I have participated in several community service events with this organization. I plan to get involved in other community service organizations once I enroll in college. Other School Activities, Honors and Awards include:
• National Honor Society
* Dual Enrollment Central Piedmont Community College
* Front Office High School Intern
* Teacher Cadet Lower School Science Department
• Interact Community Service Club
• Culinary Practice at Johnson and Wales University
I plan to study Business and Culinary Arts upon entering college and furthering my educational studies to become an entrepreneur and a private chef. Your gift will enable me to earn a scholarship and assist me in financing my education.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Please feel free to share this letter with others that you feel may be willing to assist me in my future endeavors.
